About
Colorado OnChain was founded by Will Carr, a Coloradan raising his daughter in the mountains of Evergreen as a full-time dad. He wants her to inherit a Colorado whose public finances any family can open, read, and trust.
Will is an industrial and systems engineer, trained to see how whole systems fit together. He played college basketball at the Colorado School of Mines and went on to play professionally. He also founded Genesee Nutrition, a Colorado maker of high-quality protein bars. Years of work with blockchain technology let him explain on-chain record-keeping in plain English.
Volunteer, not vendor. Will leads Colorado OnChain as an unpaid volunteer. He has pledged never to serve as a paid vendor, consultant, or technology provider to the initiative or to any state program it inspires.
Independent and nonpartisan. Colorado OnChain is a civic education effort. We endorse no candidates or parties.
